Awhile back for a picture I'd tried converting a Gif picture, and only got so far before getting stuck and then confused trying to find my mistake. Does anyone know how to do this properly?
Would be much appreciated to hear some feedback!

Just type "convert gif image to jpg in your web browser. If you don't already have a software program that can do it, there are numerous free downloads that can convert most image formats. I know in the past, I have been able to insert a gif image into a PowerPoint slide and then save that same picture image as a jpg format picture. Use the save as, then save as file type and you get the options on the below screenshot. Just select the one you want. When in doubt email me the picture and I will convert it and send it back to you.

Thanks a ton Bigdog:) I did previously try a program but it didn't do me too much good, I can try again though and if all else fails I'll send you the picture, so thank you.

I can try and do a step by step with PowerPoint. Maybe I just assume too much when I say insert the gif picture into the PowerPoint slide and then save it as a jpg type file. :)

o i didnt even see this msg when it was made a few years ago, but in steam most games like Counter-Strike should have support for gif images already, so you just have to have a gif image thats a small enough resolution it fits in the steam spray slot like the size of regular still pics, last i knew if you convert the format from gif to something else and use it in steam then it wont work like a gif and it will just show the 1st pic of the gif as a still pic
