word nice, its definitely good to have big area maps with lots of open space to move and not get stuck when running the zeds, also little map props and detail stuff can be an issue if it makes back peddling an issue, although if theres enough space for that and the prop details its fine cuz pretty looking maps are always good too

mainly smooth running maps tho, where you dont get fps lag in certain areas or the tree models or something are bugged, then just as long as the bots run around the areas fine and theres not a weird corner they just run away from cuz the .nav grid is screwed, it should work fine

found it! had to sit and play for bit on a server running zriot but i found a v1 version of gasdump

that server also has quite a few zm/zr maps on it.

only thing that might be a problem is v1 had tornadoes at z spawn that did not seem to affect the player but occasionally picked up the zombies

awesome, some of the ZM_ maps will work if the spawns are nice and open, if its too tight together the zeds spawn on top of the human team, but the ZR ones have different spawns, and also have been fixed to block all the possible high ground camping zones, or most of the ZR maps at least

oh yeah usually the maps that start with zr_ are the best for zombie riot / zombie hell mods like we have, cuz it usually means a modder went around and edited the map to further block any location that players could use to jump to a 2 story surface which puts you outta reach of the knife attacks from zeds

but yeah it usually doesnt matter much cuz if someone keeps camping and all that then they will catch a couple day ban till they stop, so that way we can use other good maps cuz only zr_ maps really limits the map options lol

found zr_gasdump_v3a

also caught a server with a number of decent maps on it. server changes map after first day is complete, 15 z takes 2 min. about 30 min cycle thru all maps, lol

just checked, apparently only does that when 1 player is on server. was 3 on this morning and it wasnt reseeting after 15 kills

gotcha post the IP for the server if you would, i can grab the maps when i get a sec while dealing with the infinite frustration that is the L4D2 plugins to try and get the extra players working again ( - . -)

right makes sense, normally i would go for hitting some screenshots and reporting them in the bans area or just passing it to me if you prefer, but the ZM and lila maps ppl usually expect to use the cades you can shoot to move around, so we can probably check for those named maps with the "loose" map props like soda machines and couches you can shoot around, if we can find any good open maps or maps with long corridors let me know and ill check them to add, im sure i have a few from my time cruising servers lol, you just gotta be able to move running backward easy

that's right! gotta go fast!!! lol

i got some more time for server surfing this weekend to find more stuff
i admit im kinda losing track of what i suggested and what you checked might need to do an audit of thread

o yupp, it was just the 1st set with the de_gasdump and 5 or 6 maps in it

there was a zm_zombietown map that should be good, although the rest had some kind of issue going on unfortunately, another 1 was almost good but had a leaking memory issue that built up over time spent on the map
